Master Class Art Workshops
Fall 2022/Winter, Spring 2023
Master Classes are educational art workshops suitable for teen and adult students.
Each Master Class presents an introduction to variety of media and teaches a unique skill set which can be expanded as the student pursues further exploration of art.



MONET'S POND WITH PALETTE KNIFE

Students will tackle re-creating beloved images of Claude Monet's Lily Pond with palette knife and acrylics.

Learn how to layer and blend colours, try to see nature through eyes of the great master.

MAGICAL WATERFALL

Students will paint this magical waterfall scene with acrylics on canvas with variety of hues and colours and also learn how to use a fan brush for different textures.

SAILING SUNSET

Two-part Master Class which encompasses three-dimensional sculpting on canvas, painting with acrylics and applying gold leaf to create this gorgeous sunset theme.

PAINTING ON SILK

In this fun Master Class students will create wearable art by learning a painting on silk technique.

Everyone will have a beautiful silk scarf by the end of the class.

WATERCOLOURS ON CANVAS

This Master Class introduces a completely different way to use watercolours. Students will be creating their artwork on canvas, not on paper. Quite an interesting technique without worrying about soaked paper.

LILACS WITH OILS

This 2-part Master Class is an introduction to oil painting to absolute beginners. Students will learn basic composition, handling of paints and mediums by creating this fresh vibrant composition. Water soluble oil paints are used with no harmful solvents.
